Believe Appoints Henri Jamet as Managing Director

Henri Jamet has been named as the new Managing Director of Believe France by the Paris-based music company Believe.

According to Believe, Jamet was referred to as “a veteran of the local industry” in France and had previously held the position of Director for “powerhouse” labels AllPoints, Morning Glory, naïve, and Animal 63. The development of Believe’s “ambitious external growth strategy within the market” will fall under the purview of Henri Jamet, who will now oversee operations in France.

Jamet will be directly responsible to Romain Vivien, who was elevated to the position of President of Europe and Global Head of Music. According to the company’s mid-year statistics, which were released last month, Believe’s revenues in France increased 17.9% YoY to €78.4 million in H1 2024 and made up 16.5% of the total revenues of the organization. His appointment, according to the firm, “highlights Believe’s strategy to capitalize on A&R and artist

development to increase the Group’s market share” and he has more than 20 years of experience in the music industry, 10 of which he spent at Believe.

Jamet started his professional career at Universal Music, then moved on to NRJ. In 2004, he joined Wagram as a marketing manager. He joined Believe in 2013 with the goal of growing the label division. After joining as the director of marketing, he assumed control of AllPoints, naïve, and founded Animal63 alongside the Savoir Faire teams, which include the French pair The Blaze on its roster. Believe claims that Jamet built AllPoints as a major French rap brand “in the space of a few years” with hits like Djadja & Dinaz, Heuss L’enfoiré, Werenoi, and others.
