Recently, Candor’s Team S.P.E.C.T.R.A., comprised of dedicated students who have invested over a thousand hours since March 2023, achieved a monumental milestone: they have landed a spot in NASA’s Human Exploration Rover Challenge. Out of 7000 applicants, they stand proudly as one of two teams representing India.

Even Mr. Krunal Joshi, the counsellor at ISRO & Embassy in Washington, DC, expressed his immense pride in the students’ remarkable achievement in crafting the rover. His commendation reflects the dedication and ingenuity poured into this project. The collaboration with NASA’s technical associates has been invaluable, guiding the team through the rover’s development process.
